NHS Lanarkshire Psychological Services have set up this website to link people with appropriate, timely information they can use to help their wellbeing. We hope that, as professionals, you will make a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the site. The summary for referrers linked from this page outlines what is available via the site, and how referrals work.

The website is not a replacement for any of our services, and does not offer self-referral to individual or group therapy. It is about enabling people to access useful resources straight away. Lots of people will of course benefit from highly specialist assessment and intervention by a Psychology team, which might be by video, by phone or in person. As we explain in the How we can help you section, this still requires a professional referral – and all the pathways for all of our services remain exactly the same.

If you have a query about a referral, we would encourage you to make contact with the appropriate team. Service leads are always happy to discuss potential referrals and offer advice on alternative pathways if we are not the right people to help.
